It is important that all the dirt and grime is cleaned out so these components can get dressed and protected from the heat of the engine or the outside elements like extreme heat or cold.

Spray digresser to brake and loosen dirt and grime
Agitate and scrub engine components with various brushes to maximize cleaning
Dry and blow any water so it doesn't sit on important parts
